A 3 hour Score event, almost 100% off-road, up on the rugged moorland of the Quantock Hills and the fast tracks of Great Wood.Expect big climbs and fast descents (or you could just potter around the hilltop if you prefer!!)
The Course:A 3 hour MBO Score (visit as many Check Points as possible within the 3 hour time limit, using only the intricate Bridleway network) with controls scattered across the Moorland and the Woodland.
Enter either as an Individual or a Pair.
Think 3 hours is too long for you? then just take on half of the area and come back early. There is no penalty for finishing early!!!
We will be using Electronic Punching for this event, so scores will count toward both the SouthWest League, and the National League.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a £1 hire fee (payable on the day) for those of you who do not own your own Dibbers. This will cover the whole weekend. There is a £29 charge for loss of Dibber.

To allow you to make the most of the area, we will be operating a remote Start. Please allow 15-30mins to cycle/push your bikes to the start from the Event Centre.The Finish will be at the Event Centre.
Due to the time of year and the location of this event:CAGOULES ARE COMPULSORY (either worn or carried)
To enter the event, if you are not a member of the BMBO, you will need to create a BMBO member's account on the join now button above. Becoming a Member is free for Day-Riders, or £6 for Full Membership. Full Members get a £2 deduction on entry fees so if you intend going to 3 or more events it is beneficial to become a Full member. Each entrant will need to have membership of either sort.
For those of you who pre-enter, we will email a blank copy of the competition map the night before the event for you to get a feel for the area!!
There will be a £3 levy for entry on the day...
Registration from 09.15am - 10.15am. Starts from 09.30am - 10.30am
At Registration all competitors will be issued with a control point descriptions sheet and SI dibber.
When you are ready to start, follow the taped route to the start, your dibber will then be dibbed, your colour 1:25000 map showing all the Control points will be issued, and your event will be deemed to have started.
All competitors should carry:Basic first aid kitEssential toolsPen or pencilCompassWhistleWater and food for the duration of the event.We also recommend that a mobile phone is carried.
Helmets must be worn at all times.
