Event Report
Simon Coiley had planned an excellent course in Cropton Forest using the plateau on both sides of the road as well as Newtondale Valley. Andy Conn nearly cleaned up but the 5 point control on the north west of the map was just too far away. The tracks weren't as dry as they had been 24 hours earlier but riders were able to use the quicker forest roads most of the time. I thoroughly enjoyed my ride - as I have all season - and the view from Control 25 down the Newtondale Valley must be one of the best in England.
Thanks again to all of the helpers who made the event run smoothly. Thanks to Jens for another excellent map and John Dixon for working out the scores so that the prizegiving took place promptly at 4.30.
John also negotiated an excellent price for the bike goods from Halfords of Northallerton.
Congratulations to the 2010 NYMBO League Champions

The Winter MBO series of 4 events begins at the Hambleton Inn on November 20th.
I have already had offers to plan 8 of next year's 9 league events which will start again in March. There will be 4 moorland events of 4/5 hours and 5 forest events of 3 hours.
Hope you can make it
