Anything organised yet? |

Hi Karen I apologise to you and Geoff re a start on a NYMBO early last autumn. I nearly abandonned a mile from registration and later cut a control with the idea of avoiding former colleagues at the finish. No idea where things will go. Have two events in one w/e in Feb. Scary but will impose discipline. Several friends want me to stop competing but I like pushing boundaries. |

Hi Karen, You have not missed anything. The date and location of the Brit Champs has not been determined yet. So far there have not been any offers to stage the weekend. It is high on my list of things to sort out when I return from my antipodean adventures. Watch this space I am afraid. |

Hi Tony, thanks for both replies. Hope you can sort an event out and I look forward to seeing the info about the champs in the news, not just on the calendar page please. You are missing some lovely sunny weather here in the UK! Jackie - sorry to hear that things are not going well for you at the moment. I hope you manage to have some quality time on your bike, be that in competition or with friends or alone, and we will see you at some events this Spring |

Hi Karen -I'm getting there. Hoping to ride Slingsby at the w/e. Rode with my rough stuff friends last Saturday and had the most bizarre off ever. As we rode past some big "gravel bags" I managed to hook my foot through the lifting loop of one. Apparently after x-rays I've stretched a ligament in my knee. I've been told to rest but cycling today was easier than walking so hope to ride. |

Thanks Tony. Nice area for foot O, but I've never biked there. Should be good |
