Can anyone tell me how to get route gadget to work? Whenever I open an event all I get is a grey screen with the routegadget header. The maps etc do not appear. The help pages do not connect at all. Tony |

Which internet browser are you using? I can't get it to work on Chrome but it works on Safari and Internet Explorer. |

I had this probelm once and found that I was zoomed in on max. Try zooming out and see if the map comes into view! |

You need to have java installed. http://www.java.com/en/download/ |

I have java installed and updated. I normally use Firefox and have had it working in the past but it will not now. Tried Internet Explorer and bingo ....it works. Cheers Ben. |

In case you're interested, RouteGadget is now working on Chrome on my mac, have no idea why, it just worked. |

You can use a tool such as Fiddler (http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/) to capture all web traffic including RouteGadget's map image requests. It's likely that there are licensing or copyright restrictions on what you are allowed to do with the maps though. Last edited Jun 1st 2010, 10:59pm by Liam Corner |
