2025 SHIELD RESULTS
Posted: 22/11/25
2025 SHIELD SEASON IS OVER
The Black Mountains BM MBO are once again victorious, congratulations to them. Well done to all the team members that not only took part, but scored points in the events. ALL the scoring riders from events for the winning club will be on the SHIELD TROPHY FOR THAT YEAR.
This season was very close to the end and needed several re-counts and checks to make sure of the results. Every event has a possible 210 points available. Entering neighbouring clubs events is important for the SHIELD EVENT. In doing this it minimises the 'Home Team/club' score as well as increase your team overall yearly total.
We have seen quite a lot of riders that are not choosing a club to ride for, this needs to be addressed and improved as there are points not claimed... The choosing of 'YOUR' Team is done when signing up for yearly BMBO membership, or when registered as a day rider at the event. Once the 'Team' has been allocated/chosen it is fixed for that year so choose well. If you ride/enter an event without full membership then only your first score is counted for your chosen team. (see shield rules)
The 2026 season has started but no events have been chosen as yet, keep looking at the 'EVENTS PAGE' for counting events.
Thank you to ALL riders who take part in SHIELD, Good luck to all in 2026 season
