MTBO National League 2011
Posted: 13/02/11
The first round of the national MTBO League kicks off soon on the 27th Feb with a unique event style on the emptiness which is MOD Stafford on a weekend.
This huge ex RAF logistics base is now home to Signals and Logistics Army Regiments and consists of literally hundreds of buildings, tracks and paths, you might even end up inside a hanger, or with a control description of Harrier jump jet left wing (I am not joking).
The event on a 1:6500 scale map will consist of a 20-40 min prologue race and 40 -60 min cloverleaf final. The hopefully exciting racing will be monitored by a central radio control, with the fastest from the prologue starting last.
Final details are now available on the Chasers site. The stodge-blog sportident punching challenge will also be making a comeback with a challenging little course too to entertain whilst waiting to start the final!
Juniors are welcome, although under 14s will have to be accompanied by an adult. A 45 min score course is available for beginners.
Pre entry is preferable due to the security implications of getting everybody into the base in good time. Don’t forget so photo ID.
