The course area proved quite a challenge and was harder than it looked on the map. Most trails were off road and the area was very hilly. With so many bridleways and tracks on the ground, navigation tripped a few people up. Most people chose to start on reds and the most popular checkpoint was R22 on Thursley Common followed by R21 on Hankley Common which overlooked the set for James Bond's Lodge in Skyfall.

Congratulations to all the class winners and to Rachel Drew who won overall with 361 out of a possible 480 points and covering 50km. Louise Oliver led the Women's Vets, Men's Seniors and Vets were won by Stephen Dadswell and Ifor Powell. There were 2 father & son teams taking part in the 2 hour event which gave Harvey Humphrey top place in the Juniors category.
