World and European Championships Team Selection
Multi Terrain Bike Orienteering (MTBO) is the International Orienteering Federation ( IOF) recognized name of Mountain Bike Orienteering.
Our Mountain Bike Orienteering (MBO) events, which are linear and on orienteering maps are the same event format. Our MBO Score events are also recognised by the IOF Rules, but international events are MBO format.
BMBO selects a team to represent Great Britain based on merit. Everybody is invited to take part in team selection. All team members must be FULL BMBO members to compete for Great Britain.
The selectors have publicly stated:
"You have the opportunity to represent your country and wear the coveted GBR Team Cycling kit. The selectors are always looking for new talented riders and the selection process is open and fair."
Most importantly, if you have any interest in being considered for selection, let the BMBO selectors know as soon as possible.
